ALLIES IN THE
SHRINERS FOUNDATION

In 2022, Hospital Auxilio Mutuo created an alliance with the Fundación de Niños
de Puerto Rico and Dr. Robert Walton, plastic and reconstructive surgeon at the
Shriners Hospital in Chicago, in order to provide free services to patients
with no medical coverage.

Thanks to this initiative, functional and aesthetic abnormalities may be corrected
in people who may otherwise not have access to these treatments. Dr. Walton
has been providing this service for over 40 years in Puerto Rico.

At the Hospital Auxilio Mutuo, each patient who receives treatment is monitored
throughout their recovery for a year.
