3D Mammography or Breast Tomosynthesis (DBT)
Tomosynthesis screening results in a series of precise images that allow for early breast cancer detection. These are obtained from multiple angles to observe breast tissue closely enough to determine whether areas that might have previously caused concern are truly at risk or not. This test emits less radiation than the maximum level permitted by the FDA.
