    Six modern rooms, designed for bone marrow transplant patients and their families, equipped with:

    • Highly efficient air purification system (HEPA) that minimizes the presence of particles and microorganisms.
    • Consistent positive air pressure within the patient’s room and the hallway, with consistent monitoring.
    • Cardiac monitor.
    • Ability to carry out diagnostic, minimally invasive procedures (echocardiogram, endoscopy, bronchoscopy, bone marrow biopsy).
    • Capacity for hemodialysis.
    • Computer in all rooms for access to results and EMR documentation.

    Special Protocols

    Our Bone Marrow Transplant Unit follows strict protocols to ensure the wellbeing of our patients. We have implemented a specialized advanced cleaning protocol that includes a UV lamp as part of our disinfecting process before and after a room is occupied, thus guaranteeing a clean and safe environment.
